Attik are a creative dance organisation that specialises in participation and training and we work with five key groups;
Attik 360 - Dance activities for adults with physical and learning difficulties. Thanks to funding from The Clare Milne Trust, these sessions allow creativity and time to just let go and be free in a safe and supported environment.
Time to Dance – Dance activities for the over 50’s. Thanks to funding from Health Promotion Devonport, these are energising sessions with an emphasis on mobilising the body, improving fitness and developing flexibility.
Attik Youth Dance - A company for young and talented dancers aspiring to progress onto further dance education and to gain performance experience.
Education - We work with schools and colleges to enhance or support the curriculum. All our workshops offer an intensive, stimulating and creative experience for students and teachers.
Professional Development, We offer training and mentoring opportunities to emerging dance practitioners so they can have the opportunity to develop their skills and gain experience in this environment.
Attik Dance became a registered charity in 2003. We take dance out of the studio and into places where people live, work and study to ignite imagination, inspire creativity, facilitate learning and to ensure that dance is accessible to all. We are regularly funded by The Arts Council and are Key Clients of Plymouth City Council
